What meals for Christmas are you planning on cooking?

I'm thinking of doing goose.

We always eat out at a fancy restaurant on xmas day. I always order venison.
When in ATL, I always order fried lobster.

Pretty much it is going to be just my mom, my aunt and me. I think that we will have a pretty decent meal this Christmas. We will have turkey and ham.

I'm so not feeling the traditional fare, so we're having baby back ribs, chicken, & mustard broiled salmon. Sides are potato salad, mac n cheese, and garlic rice. My SIL is doing the string beans.

I will be baking my mom's sour cream pound cake.

For the last three years, I've order Ruth Chris steaks. Stuffing, veges, and wine added. I've bored with the same old fare.

We couldn't agree on the main course meat, so I included them all. We had a rack of lamb with greek seasonings/wild & brown rice, cornish hens/stuffing, baked ham with pineapple/honey/brown sugar glaze. Veggies were white and green asparagus, southern green beans, potatoes. New Year's eve, our tradition is gumbo and lobster/crab dip with black eyed peas and other things on NY day

Politician, you can have Ruth Chris steak any time you like. Buy a nice steak in the cut you like best.
Sear it in a oven proof pan. Then place the pan in a pre heated 500 % oven and heaven is born.
