Not necessarily. It's the classic 1-6-4-5 progression. It's used quite frequently as a fundamental progression. Want to know other styles uses the same chords over and over? Blues music. It's mostly 12-step (1-1-1-1-4-4-1-1-5-4-1-1) and bands love to play this in E (easiest for guitar). Mostly in A minor.
