Regina King talks 'Boondocks' season 4

Regina King has confirmed that "The Boondocks" is closer to making its return to TV.

Yet another star from "The Boondocks" has spoken out about the fate of the popular comic-strip-turned-cartoon-series. Before season 3 of the show debuted, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim announced that it would be the final season.

Last year, however, John Witherspoon revealed during a radio interview that "The Boondocks" would be making a comeback. Now, Regina, who voiced main characters Huey and Riley Freeman, has confirmed John's news.

"I talked to Aaron [McGruder, the series creator] and it looks like they're working things out. I'm trying to be positive," Regina told Sway on Shade 45. "Because you know you say one thing, and the next thing you know it just all fell apart."

She summed up, "But it looks strong like we're coming back."

During her visit to Shade 45, a fan of the show asked whether there were plans to bring "The Boondocks" to the big screen.

"Aaron is thinking about a movie. I'm pretty sure he's done a rough draft of where you would want the movie to go," Regina revealed. "And I think he's been talking to some financiers and you just might see that."

Although she couldn't say for sure which will happen first, Regina is confident that both projects will be completed.

"I don't know that you might see that before the show coming back. I'd like to venture out there and say that you'll see the show and the movie."

Woman Claims Racism and Sexual Harassment at Paula Deen Restaurant

(SAVANNAH, Ga.) – The former general manager of a Savannah restaurant co-owned by Paula Deen claimed in a lawsuit filed Monday she was sexually harassed and subjected to a hostile work environment rife with sexual innuendo, physical intimidation and racial slurs.

Lisa Jackson said in the lawsuit, filed in Chatham County Superior Court, her physician encouraged her to quit working at Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House because she suffered from panic attacks and other stress from working there. The restaurant is owned by Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers.

Jackson said in the lawsuit that Hiers routinely made inappropriate sexual and racial remarks and that she heard both Hiers and Deen use racial slurs. She also said in the lawsuit she saw Hiers violently shake a black employee and that he fostered an environment of intimidation.

A spokesman for Deen declined to comment on the pending litigation, and Hiers didn’t immediately return calls seeking comment.

Jackson, who is white, was hired at the restaurant in February 2005 and within months was promoted to general manager with a mandate from Deen to turn it into a success.

Hiers soon began targeting her with unwanted advances, she said, and he watched pornography in the small office the two shared. He also distributed pictures of two women having sex at an office meeting and complained about heavier staff members, the complaint said.

She said Hiers made racially insensitive remarks and that his restaurant required black staff members to use the back entrance and banned them from using a customer restroom that white staffers were allowed to use.

During one meeting in July 2010, she said Hiers violently shook a black male kitchen worker. Deen later decided to invite the man to her mansion to smooth things over rather than to address her brother’s conduct, the lawsuit said. In another incident, Hiers challenged his staffers to a fight, she said.

Jackson said she routinely suffered from panic attacks that often began when Hiers came to work each morning. The situation came to a head in August 2010 when Jackson said Hiers grabbed her face during a dinner for vendors at the restaurant and declared “I love you,” then later screamed at her and spit in her face.

Jackson said she left her job days later after her doctor suggested quitting her job would improve her health. She said in the lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages, that she “continues to endure immense pain and has suffered greatly at the hands of Defendants’ outrageous and intolerable conduct.”

Looks like Kris Humphries isn't the only member of his family staying in the spotlight.

Humphries' older sister, Kaela, 29, has just signed a deal with elite modeling agency Ford Models' plus-size division.

"The division that brought you Crystal Renn, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine and Marquita Pring among others is excited at the prospect of bringing this beautiful, engaging young woman to markets worldwide," the agency said in a release. "A true size 16-18, Kaela will be in a league of her own."

She's no stranger to the modeling business. Kaela, who has appeared on "Kourtney and Khloe Take New York," has previously been signed with Wilhemina Models in Los Angeles and has appeared on the CW's "Remodeled."

[b]Colts Announce They're Releasing Peyton Manning[/b]

Peyton Manning's record-breaking run as quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts ended Wednesday, when owner Jim Irsay announced the team would release its best player.

Both men paused frequently, fighting tears and their voices shaking, when they appeared together at a news conference at the Colts' team complex.

"This has not been easy for Jim," Manning said, "and this has certainly not been easy for me."

The 35-year-old Manning will become a free agent, and there is expected be interest from a half-dozen or so NFL clubs, provided he's healthy. Manning is coming off a series of operations to his neck and missed all of last season.

Indianapolis needed to cut him this week to avoid paying him a $28 million bonus. The Colts are widely expected to begin moving on by taking Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 overall pick in April's draft.

"It'll always be Colt," Manning said. "That'll never change."

He forever will be thought of around these parts as No. 18, the quarterback who led the Colts to an NFL championship.

He'll be remembered, too, for his record four MVP awards, his 50,000 yards passing and his 200 consecutive starts. Most of all, Manning will be the guy in the horseshoe helmet who turned around a franchise and transformed a basketball-loving city into a football hotbed that hosted the Super Bowl a month ago.

Arizona, Miami, Tennessee, Washington and the New York Jets all have been rumored as possible destinations; Manning's former offensive coordinator in Indianapolis, Tom Moore, worked for the Jets as a consultant last season.

Manning has said his goal was to play his entire career with the Colts, but a damaged nerve that forced him to have neck surgery kept him out of action for all of 2011, and not coincidentally, his team's record plummeted to 2-14.
