Five months after Kandi Burress sued her Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Kim Zolciak for making a profit off Zolciak's 2009 dance single "Tardy for the Party", Zolciak has come out on top in court, TMZ reports. A judge has officially ruled in Zolciak's favor as she responded with her own legal documents, claiming Burress, 37, used the lawsuit as a publicity stunt to promote her now-canceled show The Kandi Factory.

Zolciak previously asked Burress for help to rework her track "Tardy for the Party" into a dance song. It later reached number 20 on iTunes Top 200. Burress is a Grammy-winning singer songwroter that's behind hits like TLC's "No Scrubs" and Destiny Child's "Bills Bills Bills."

In March 2012, Burruss filed that the mother of four released and sold her song "without [the] plaintiff's authorization, license or agreement."

Alongside her rep -- fellow RHOA star Phaedra Parks -- Burress also asked for a temporary restraining order issue to prevent sales of the track.
"I hardly got anything from Tardy for the Party. That is the truth," Burruss wrote in an October 2010 blog post. "I am not mad about it. I really blame myself because I didn't handle my business correctly."

In response, Zolciak, 35, defended releasing the song. "Kandi tried to pull the song down in December on iTunes but after I showed documents and proved points, the song was immediately put back up," she wrote via Twitter.

Zolciak and Burress both starred on the Bravo series together from 2009 to 2013. Zolciak departed the Bravo show mid-season 4; she's currently pregnant with twins and has her own spinoff series, Don't Be Tardy.

Pharrell Williams Marries Helen Lasichanh, Usher and Busta Rhymes Perform: All the Details!
OCTOBER 12, 2013 AT 11:10PM BY

Pharrell Williams is one lucky guy! The Grammy award-winning record producer tied the knot with his girlfriend model Helen Lasichanh on Saturday, Oct. 12, Us Weekly can confirm. The "Get Lucky" singer and his new bride exchanged vows in Miami, Fla.

The newlyweds were feted by several famous pals, including Usher and Busta Rhymes. "Usher and Busta Rhymes did a mini concert at the wedding," a source revealed to Us. "It was so fun. The little concert was amazing. It [was] the most fun wedding I've ever been to."

"Of course they're playing some of [Williams'] hits tonight," another insider added.

Williams and Lasichanh are already parents to their 4-year-old-son Rocket. "[He's the] best song that I've ever co-written," the fashion designer said about his baby boy to TODAY show host Savannah Guthrie in August. "It's awesome," he said of his family. "I can't tell anyone what to do. I can't give anyone relationship advice. But the bestie thing is awesome. Every night is like a sleepover."

Farewell, Sgt. John Munch. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit fans were thrown for a loop on the Wednesday, Oct. 9 episode of NBC's hit, but it wasn't just because of the drama's intense cop-rape storyline. After 15 seasons, it was revealed that beloved SVU mainstay Richard Belzer (Sgt. John Munch) would leave the series as a full-time costar.

"Munch put in his papers," Dann Florek's Capt. Cragen told a stunned Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) at the conclusion of the Oct. 9 episode, which featured Benson's live-in boyfriend Brian Cassidy (Dean Winters) going undercover to investigate a series of alleged rapes committed by members of the NYPD. "Liv, it's OK. Nothing changes. Except what has to."

Though SVU's fictional 16th precinct will fete the beloved sergeant in a retirement party episode on Oct. 16, a source tells The Huffington Post Belzer could return to the NBC series in a guest star capacity, something the actor himself would welcome. "I'd be a fool to say I didn't want to do it anymore and I'm certainly not bored with the character because the writing is so good," Belzer told The Huffington Post in May. "[Munch is] very close to how I would be if I were in that situation, so it's a dream."

Belzer is not the first high-profile member of SVU to exit the squadroom in recent years. Chris Meloni's Det. Elliot Stabler -- beloved by fans as Benson's longtime partner -- concluded his run on the series in 2011 after 12 seasons.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. (EST) on NBC.

"Grand Theft Auto V" attempted to lowball rapper Daz Dillinger, then jacked his music without paying him a cent ... this according to a cease and desist letter Daz fired off to the makers of GTA V.

In the letter to Take-Two Interactive Software and Rockstar Games, Daz and his attorney say "C-Walk" and "Nothin' But the Cavi Hit" are used in the record-setting game, even though Daz turned down the company's "offensively low offer of $4,271.00 for both songs."

Now, the ex-member of the legendary Dogg Pound is demanding they make him a better offer or -- and this is a biggie -- recall and destroy ALL unsold copies of the game.

Keep in mind ... more than 15 million copies of GTA V have already sold -- and there are probably just as many, if not more, sitting on store shelves right now.

Not to mention the riot such a recall would cause in the gaming community.

Daz tells TMZ this case is about "respecting an artist's work. Rockstar didn't do that here and I can't let them get away with it."

Daz and his attorneys at Kushner Carlson are giving the GTA V makers 14 days to comply with their demands ... or strike a deal.

I'm not sure if I like/understand Pharrel and his new wife's attire. It's not for me to like though. God bless their union.

Ouch. Just Ouch, muthafucka!

Sgt. Munch is one of my all time favorite TV characters. That's got to be true for a lot of folks because although he was created in Homicide: Life on the Streets and wound up on L&O: SVU, he also had recurring appearances on the original L&O (anybody remember the "I fucked your girl" pool game with Lenny Briscoe?) and cameos on The Wire and even The X Files. Not enough of a character for his own show, but just enough to add some life to the ones he appeared in.

“Now, I know you been watching that junk on TV. I want to tell you right now, not one dime of what you’re sowing right now will buy my suit. I want you to know my car is paid for. I want you to know I got my house on my own. I want you to know I’m not bling-blinging. I am not shake and bake. I had money when I came to Dallas and I plan to have some when I leave

You did not buy what I got. I had it when I came here. You know I had it when I came here. The devil is a lie! I have sold enough books and produced enough movies. I don’t need your offering to pay for this little slimy suit. So I rebuke that spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.”

He also told the congregation, “I do not need you to buy my car. I got this.” He drove home the point that his message of prosperity is about giving back...not taking.

The people who have been here a while can go through my track record and prove when I said something, I did it. When we went after something, we bought it. When we wanted the land, we paid for it. When we wanted the school, we built it. When we went after this church we burned the mortgage on this church.

You don’t do that kind of business being shake and bake and slimy and—shut up.

So let the work I’ve done speak for me. You are sowing into good ground. And the 300 families that are employed in this ministry eat from this ministry, work in this ministry, and help us to produce the excellence that we do. The natives all over Kenya drink water because of this ministry. And the hospital in Nairobi survives because of this ministry.
Dear Mister Cranston.
I wanted to write you this email - so I am contacting you through Jeremy Barber - I take it we are both represented by UTA. Great agency.

I've just finished a marathon of watching "BREAKING BAD" - from episode one of the First Season - to the last eight episodes of the Sixth Season. [Ed note: There are in fact five seasons of Breaking Bad; this might have been wishful thinking.] (I downloaded the last season on AMAZON) A total of two weeks (addictive) viewing.

I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant!

Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen - ever.

I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bullshit in this business, and I've sort of lost belief in anything really.

But this work of yours is spectacular - absolutely stunning. What is extraordinary, is the sheer power of everyone in the entire production. What was it? Five or six years in the making? How the producers (yourself being one of them), the writers, directors, cinematographers.... every department - casting etc. managed to keep the discipline and control from beginning to the end is (that over used word) awesome.

From what started as a black comedy, descended into a labyrinth of blood, destruction and hell. It was like a great Jacobean, Shakespearian or Greek Tragedy.

If you ever get a chance to - would you pass on my admiration to everyone - Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Aaron Paul, Betsy Brandt, R.J. Mitte, Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Steven Michael Quezada - everyone - everyone gave master classes of performance ... The list is endless.

Thank you. That kind of work/artistry is rare, and when, once in a while, it occurs, as in this epic work, it restores confidence.

You and all the cast are the best actors I've ever seen.

That may sound like a good lung full of smoke blowing. But it is not. It's almost midnight out here in Malibu, and I felt compelled to write this email.

Congratulations and my deepest respect. You are truly a great, great actor.

Best regards

Tony Hopkins.
Multiple sources confirm to In Touch that Katie Holmes has embarked on a new romance with her ex-husband’s close friend, actor Jamie Foxx.

“Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while,” an insider reveals to In Touch, adding that Jamie has secretly been spending time at Katie’s apartment. “They’re very Mission: Impossible about their romance.”

A second source confirms to In Touch that one early morning in mid-September, a driver pulled in front of the Trump Soho Hotel, prepared to take Jamie to the set of his new flick Annie — but was surprised when Katie stepped into the limo instead. “A hotel employee confirmed that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car,” the second source reveals. “So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment.”

Though sparks were clearly flying between Katie and Jamie, 45, when they danced together to Robin Thicke’s sexy “Blurred Lines” at a Hamptons charity bash in late August, Katie’s rep insisted they were still just “friends.” But with Jamie’s long friendship with Tom — who he once said “changed the projection of my career” — on the line, it’s no surprise the new couple want to keep things quiet. “Whoever you’re dating, don’t let anybody know!” intensely private Jamie once told Oprah Winfrey, but added, “I’m very loving … when it comes to being there [for someone].”
