Kanye West & Kim Kardashian are reportedly set to sue YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley over the release of footage from the couple's proposal.
Yesterday (October 24), it was reported that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are reportedly planning to sue the person who released their proposal video, according to tmz.com.
Kardashian and West reportedly plan to sue the person responsible for the video's release because they say it was disseminated without their consent and because everyone present at their engagement party signed a confidentiality agreement. The site reports that a lawsuit is imminent.
Vanity Fair published the video on October 23, reporting that it came from YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, who uploaded it on his new video app, MixBit.
Hurley reportedly released the video with a press release explaining that the clip includes “the orchestra and lights show in anticipation of the proposal, Kanye down on one knee, the reaction from family and friends, and the celebration and toasting to the newly engaged couple afterwards,” as per Vanity Fair.
Hurley also released the video via Twitter.

EXCLUSIVE: NBC is looking to revive one of the most successful series in TV history – Murder, She Wrote — with a brand new take from writer Alexandra Cunningham and producer David Janollari that has Oscar winner Octavia Spencer succeeding Angela Lansbury in the lead role of an astute amateur detective.
The new hourlong project, which has received a put pilot commitment, is a re-imagining of the long-running CBS series. Described as a light, contemporary procedural in the vein of Bones or Fargo, it follows a hospital administrator and amateur sleuth (Spencer) who self-publishes her first mystery novel.
Set in a day where sensational headlines inundate the news, this woman’s avid fascination with true crime leads her to become an active participant in the investigations. Former Desperate Housewives executive producer Cunningham is writing and will executive produce with Janollari. Universal TV, whose namesake predecessor produced the original series, is producing with studio-based David Janollari Entertainment.

Why don't they stop being lazy and quit sticking black people into old, rusty white television shows? They need to create new, original characters/stories. Didn't they learn their lessons with Kojak, Ironsides, The Honeymooners, etc.
I have never seen such a lazy era of creation in my life. Everything gets recycled. Some things are on their third and fourth regurgitations for people my age.

I don't remember a black Kojak. Who played the part?
Did you watch Dracula the tv series? Renfield is an educated well spoken black. Now that is a different take on a remake.

Quincy Jones sues Michael Jackson's estate
Oct 25, 8:13 PM (ET)
By ANTHONY McCARTNEY
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Quincy Jones sued Michael Jackson's estate on Friday claiming he is owed millions in royalties and production fees on some of the superstar's greatest hits.
Jones' lawsuit seeks at least $10 million from the singer's estate and Sony Music Entertainment, claiming the entities improperly re-edited songs to deprive him of royalties and production fees. The music has been used in the film "This Is It" and a pair of Cirque du Soleil shows based on the King of Pop's songs, the lawsuit states.
Jones also claims that he should have received a producer's credit on the music in "This Is It." His lawsuit seeks an accounting of the estate's profits from the works so that Jones can determine how much he is owed.
The producer worked with Jackson on three of his most popular solo albums, "Off the Wall," "Thriller" and "Bad."
Jackson's estate wrote in a statement that it was saddened by Jones' lawsuit. "To the best of its knowledge, Mr. Jones has been appropriately compensated over approximately 35 years for his work with Michael," the statement said.
An after-hours message left at Sony Music's New York offices was not immediately returned.
Jackson's hits "Billie Jean," "Thriller" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" are among the songs Jones claims were re-edited to deprive him of royalties and his producer's fee.
Jones' lawsuit states the producer's contracts called for him to have the first opportunity to re-edit or alter the songs, in part to protect his reputation.

Chris Brown Arrested For Felony Assault
Posted: 10/27/2013 10:47 am EDT | Updated: 10/27/2013 10:55 am EDT
Chris Brown was arrested in Washington D.C. this morning (Oct. 27) for felony assault after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel, TMZ reports.
According to ABC News, a D.C. police spokeswoman said Brown got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel at 15th and Pennsylvania Avenue at 4:30 a.m. Brown reportedly began punching the man after the situation got heated. Officials believe he was not under the influence of anything at the time of the incident.
CNN reports that Brown's bodyguard was also jailed following the altercation.
Brown is currently in custody and will be held until court on Monday (Oct. 2 , since he is not eligible for release until seeing a judge, a source told ABC News. As for the other man, TMZ has learned that he's being evaluated at a D.C. hospital.
This arrest could be very bad news for Brown, considering he is still on probation for the Rihanna beating case. If he did violate his probation with this incident, worst case scenario, Brown could be sentenced to nearly four years in prison.
He was in D.C. to host a Howard University Homecoming after party.

I just can't believe Chris Brown will be so stupid so I'll reserve judgement until the facts come out.

Was anyone surprised that the rebooted version of Ironside got canned?

HELL NO! That shit was ridiculous.
Basically, dude was the coolest Black sex-machine on wheels. They tried to twist the plot so that it was his partner who shot him in a case of "friendly fire". Okay, but the partner is still all torn up about it, but Ironside is "over that shit" and can't empathize with what the partner is dealing with. Meanwhile, as I pointed out before, the first superfine chick in any given episode winds up getting the handi-man special...including him beating you down and taking your woman because you cracked a gimp joke. On top of that, his interaction with his time was a warmed-over "House" dynamic, with his paraplegic condition playing the same role that House's addiction played.
Nah...that shit wasn't even believable. It got as much of a chance as it deserved.
