Honey, when NeNe says she can’t believe her life… we have to agree. This woman has done just a little bit of everything. From the stripper pole, to a housewife, to reality tv star, actress and now a contestant on “Dancing With The Stars”… the trajectory of her life is something out of a movie. She’s done plenty. But before all of the success she’s experiencing today, NeNe Leakes was Linnethia Johnson and she found herself in quite a bit of trouble.

In her 2009 autobiography Never Make the Same Mistake Twice, NeNe admitted that she was arrested in her twenties when a friend shoplifted from a mall. But apparently that wasn’t the only time NeNe found herself in trouble with the law.

Star magazine obtained documents from the Athens-Clakre County Superior Court which proved that Leakes was arrested and charged with three felonies and one misdemeanor in 1992. The charges were for “thefts of services” from the phone company. NeNe, Linnethia, was 25 at the time.

She came to a plea agreement and plead guilty to all four counts placing her on a two year probation. She was also ordered to pay $2,650 in fees.

But during the next two years, NeNe couldn’t keep her nose clean. She was arrested three more times for violating the terms of her probation.

For someone who prides herself on keeping it real, it looks like NeNe may have left out some vital details.

But we surely won’t hold it against her. Even though NeNe can still be more catty than a little bit, she participated in those crimes over twenty years ago and, thankfully, she’s managed to turn away from the mess, instead of wallowing in it. You have to admire that. Furthermore, we have no idea what type of life she was living those days. We’re assuming it wasn’t an easy one.

I guess, what I find most interesting about this story is the fact that this is the first time we’re hearing about all of this.

BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) - Reality TV star Benzino was injured after being shot by his nephew on a Massachusetts highway Saturday while riding in a funeral procession for a family member, according authorities and Benzino's hip-hop magazine.

Benzino, whose real name is Raymond Scott, is a cast member of the VH1 reality show "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" and CEO of Hip-Hop Weekly. The magazine confirmed on its website Saturday night that Benzino had been shot.

The 48-year-old Benzino was traveling on Route 3 south of Boston just before noon when 36-year-old Gai Scott pulled alongside and fired several shots into a red SUV driven by Benzino, the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office said in a statement. Officials say there had been growing tension between the two.

Benzino, of Mansfield, Mass., got out of the SUV after being struck and was taken by a passerby to the Duxbury Police Department and then transferred to a hospital.

Hip-Hop Weekly said he was shot in an arm, and his back was grazed by a bullet.

He was listed in good condition, a spokeswoman for South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth said Sunday morning.

[b]The magazine said Benzino was in the area to bury his mother.[/b] He was heading to a church in Plymouth at the time of the shooting, the District Attorney's Office said.

Police responding to the scene found the red SUV in the middle of Route 3 with bullet holes and a reddish brown substance believe to be blood inside the vehicle. Officials said shell casings and projectiles also were found at the scene.

Gai Scott, of Randolph, Mass., was taken into custody and charged with assault with intent to murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in the Plymouth District Court.

The "Love & Hip Hop" series is known for its over-the-top drama and fights - making it a ratings success, but also a target for criticism. The fourth season of the show's New York series ended in January. The third season of the Atlanta spinoff debuts in May.

Benzino is a former co-owner of The Source magazine. In its prime, The Source was the pre-eminent magazine for rap, and it helped fuel the rise of urban magazines such as XXL and Vibe.

Benzino left the publication in 2006 and later launched Hip-Hop Weekly, which chronicles the lives of urban music stars.

Pharrell Williams is joining the team of The Voice as a coach for the upcoming seventh season this fall.

The show announced the news by showing off a photo of the famous turnaround chairs with Pharrell‘s now infamous hat sitting on top of one.

Pharrell, 40, will be filling in Cee Lo Green‘s vacated chair after the singer announced he will not be returning to the show.

“Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7,” NBC wrote.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kenya Moore is completely fed up with Porsha Williams' violent BS -- at least that's how she sounded on the 911 call she placed ... moments after Porsha allegedly attacked her.

You can practically feel Kenya rolling her eyes as she grudgingly answers the emergency dispatcher's questions on the phone, deadpanning, "I've just been assaulted." She also goes into more detail about the attack on the call.

As we reported, Porsha and Kenya exploded on each other last Thursday during the taping of the "RHOA" reunion special.

After over a year behind bars Mendeecees Harris is currently a free man. According to a report by Democrat and Chronicle the reality television personality was released on $600,000 bail Monday.

Harris’ girlfriend and fellow Love & Hip Hop star Yandy Smith agreed to pay a $200,000 bail package, and U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr. released Harris from the Yates County Jail.

Apparently a film crew from the hit VH1 program LHHNY was on hand outside the courthouse to film Harris’ release.

Authorities accuse Harris of participating in a $2.5 million heroin and cocaine drug trafficking ring between Rochester, New York and New York City. Two of his alleged co-conspirators, brother Tyrus Harris and Ronald Walker, have already pled guilty.

Probably nothing. She and Brandy have sclera that appear darker/brown. It's probably just benign melanosis and thinning of the sclera.

You get this sort of random information when your opthamologist (and my dentist) love to talk more than work. Laughing
