Katt Williams Reportedly Draws Gun at LA’s Comedy Store; Cops Swarm

*Comedian Katt Williams is back in the headlines for his erratic behavior – this time for allegedly drawing a gun on someone at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood.

According to TMZ, a 911 call Tuesday night ended with cops racing to the scene with guns drawn. Eyewitnesses tell the website that Katt was inside the club when a heckler started talking smack about the comedian’s height and race. Katt, who had been milling around the venue, reportedly “went crazy” and started threatening the heckler with a gun.

At that point someone called 911 to report a man with a gun at the Comedy Store. Six police cars raced to the Sunset Strip location. Deputies pointed shot guns and bean bag guns at the club as they prepared for a confrontation.

Turns out … Katt had already left.

So far no arrest warrant has been issued. Police say they are still investigating

Nick Cannon did everything but say the words … he's playing Richard Pryor in an upcoming biopic.

Cannon was a guest on "TMZ Live" Wednesday, where he said the movie was not yet in production and he didn't want to jinx it.

Cannon said he's been meeting with director Lee Daniels about the project and has been doing all sorts of things to get ready ... like growing out his hair and taking up smoking. Nick even posted a photo on Instagram ... a side-by-side of him and Pryor.

He wouldn't directly say he's got the part ... so we asked him to do a hat trick that would serve as confirmation.

Columbus Short can probably label 2014 as one of the worst years of his life. The former “Scandal” star spent his 4th of July behind bars after he was arrested for public intoxication. But he could have landed in jail for a lot more.

After hanging out at Katy Trail Ice House in Dallas for about four hours, the "Gave Ya" singer felt he had enough to drink and decided to leave. But…he allegedly didn’t pay his tab, so the bouncer at the door talked to him about it.

Apparently, Columbus was pissed the bouncer asked him about his unpaid tab and began screaming. An eyewitness tells TMZ the shamed actor accused the security guard of being a racist…which we’re not sure why being that the guard was also black. Then their screaming match turned into an all out scuffle.

Lucikly, two off-duty cops were there and broke it up before things got completely out of hand. Columbus could have possibly walked away a free man, but once he saw the cops were called, he started screaming at them too! It was reported he tried to attack the authorities as well. Sighs...

So…they locked him up and sent him to jail but he was only charged him for public intoxication.

Omarion's chic consistently makes horrible fashion decisions. I have the same question about her baby shower 'fit. Laughing

Richard Pryor's kids aren't happy with that pick to play their father. Can't say I blame them too much.

Columbus Short...he's either really stupid or mentally ill. Or both. Whatever it is, I hope it gets handled before he really hurts somebody.
