How often do you all use the PAY PER VIEW on your cable box?? Obviously those who are dinosaurs, still use a Commodore 64 and don't have cable, this does not apply to.

Surely I thought you were going to vote for the MR HOUSTON option. I was asking because I bought the fight yesterday (in my area it's like $5 cheaper to get it early rather than the day of) and when I was trying to find it, I noticed abunch of movies on there that I wasn't gonna pay $5 to see in the theatre so why would I pay $4.99 on CABLE??

Just seemed odd to me.

Those wrestling PPV's cost just as much as a boxing match. $35+ for something scripted?? I don't get it??

But then who am I to talk. I got fleeced

$30 plus for LEONARD vs. DURAN III
$30 plus for TYSON vs. McNeeley (he was the bum and I mean that literally that Tyson fought his first fight out of jail)

ALL OF ROY JONES JR. PPV fights except for GRIFFTH and that was because he ended it WAY too soon. (It was a good knockout though).

I hate to admit I did buy LELA ALI vs. Christy Martin too. My first woman's event I bought..

I can't remember the last time I actually paid for a pay-per-view event.

I voted for the professional wrestling one. I usualy won't buy a fight on HBO PPV because they'll end up showing it on regular HBO in a couple of weeks anyway.

last NWA wrestling had a 0.01 cent PPV to introduce new viewers to their brand.

For those of us without a DIRECT TV pirated card or a black box Sad

Oh I remember one terrible one I purchased but it was entertaining for one reason. It was in 1999 an exhibition basketball (even Isiah suited up) during the lockout. The best Shocking part though was seeing then CHIESELED Shawn Kemp go from this..

To this..

Look at that BELLY??(he looks bigger than SHAQ in that picture) He got that big in one summer..

Nah not strictly for boxing... remember NBA season ticket....
but that's it.

You have to be a lazy muthafucka to order a movie ppv when you know there is a blockbuster only a block or two away, it costs more, and the movies on ppv come out later than the ones at the video store.

shoot our pay per view for movies is cheaper than our BLockbuster. However we still very rarely use it, but we do get coupons from Dish for a free PPV movie every now and then. I wanted to the the NBA season thing too, but my husband was like, no I don't think so.

When I realized the movies they put on PPV have been out on video for about a month, I never did a PPV again.

i DON'T Consider the NBA league package PPV but then considering it's expensive, I would say maybe it is.

To me to get those kind of packages you have to be a HARDCORE FAN because at some times there are even times I'll go a week without watching it and I've had the package for the last 4 years.

With the Football package (thats only on DirectTV) I don't think you could get tired of it because there's a week in between games.

THE NBA now though is trying to have you PAY for NBATV which used to be free. What they should do is include it FREE for NBA Package buyers..

Now THAT I would pay for.....but nothing else.

The thing that turned me off for PPV was the one time I tried it to buy an "adult" movie...and I got one of those "Cinemax" specials where there was a lot of moaning and no pussy/dick s cenes..... Evil or Very Mad for $9.99..... Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

No more......

Mad
